The Saluda Center exists to nurture community spirit. We're donor-supported and powered by volunteers. Most of our programming supports seniors, but every neighbor is welcome here. Whether you come to play bridge, take a dance class, rent a room for a gathering, or shop local treasures — this is your Saluda Center.
Our Mission
The Saluda Center is a nonprofit, volunteer-powered gathering place dedicated to enriching the lives of our community—especially seniors—through inclusive programs, social connection, and shared resources. We provide welcoming spaces, meaningful activities, and opportunities to engage, support, and celebrate one another in the heart of Saluda, NC.

To be the heart of our community—a welcoming place where people come together to celebrate, share knowledge, and create lasting memories. We aspire to be a catalyst for positive change and a source of inspiration for all, with a special focus on enriching the lives of our senior citizens.

The Saluda Center is guided by a dedicated Board of Directors who bring passion, experience, and a deep commitment to our community. As volunteers themselves, our board members help shape the Center's vision, oversee operations, and ensure that our programs and spaces continue to serve the needs of Saluda—especially our senior citizens.
